According to Barry Ariko, CEO, Mirapoint, “We are honored to be recognized as a finalist in the 2007 American Business Awards. This validates our commitment to providing innovative messaging solutions to meet enterprise demands. Many enterprises caught in a security breach experience the pain and expense of not having deployed an email forensics tool. Mirapoint’s Messaging Reporter enables administrators to quickly return to any point for up to ten years and pinpoint anything that happened anywhere on the email network.”
Holistic View of Spam, Virus, and Email Trends Across the Messaging Network
IT administrators need to see exactly what is happening on their network in order to identify current threats, anticipate future network growth, and reconstruct events for internal investigation or external audit purposes. Mirapoint’s Messaging Reporter makes this manual process centralized and automated, taking seconds instead of days to generate an overall report of what the edge security devices are doing, including specifying over what period – up to 10 years – that there port should cover. The Messaging Reporter can identify, search for,and gather messages based on their characteristics, such as date, sender, recipient, or subject, in response to audit or discovery requests and determine exactly what actions have been taken with them. Messaging Reporter can also trace the path and disposition of any message. These forensic capabilities eliminate the costly,time-consuming efforts required in the past to retrieve messages and enable IT administrators to quickly respond to corporate requests or email audits and easily locate specific messages that employees may be awaiting delivery on.
Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners this week from among Finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May. Stevie Award winners will be announce during the annual gala on Monday, June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 700 executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be video cast on the Internet and broadcast on radio, and hosted by Larry Wilmore of TV’s THE DAILY SHOW with JON STEWART.
“Being named a finalist in The American Business Awards is an important achievement,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. “It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.”
