Mirapoint Delivers Carrier-Class Messaging Based on HP StorageWorks SAN Solutions
Combined Solution Provides Foundation for Global Multimedia Messaging Service and Unified Communications Projects

SUNNYVALE, Calif., November 25, 2002 - Mirapoint today announced support of HP StorageWorks Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions when implemented with the Mirapoint Message Server M4000 SAN Edition. Designed for large service providers and mobile operator customers, Mirapoint's messaging systems along with HP StorageWorks SANs have already been selected by a number of global operators to provide the message routing and storage foundation for advanced, wireless Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and unified communications services.

When used together, HP StorageWorks SAN solutions and Mirapoint messaging systems scale to support the demanding message volume and storage needs of the world's largest carriers.
