MessageMachines Forms Partnership with Mirapoint for the Delivery of Advanced Messaging Solutions to Enterprises and Service Providers
Partnership Enables Mirapoint to Offer Enhanced Customer Cross-Device Instant Messaging and Notification Capabilities

Boston, MA - May 30, 2001 - MessageMachines, Inc., a leader in advanced messaging solutions, today announced a partnership with Mirapoint, Inc., a leading provider of Internet messaging infrastructure products, to enhance the messaging and notification capabilities of Mirapoint's product line. Under the agreement, MessageMachines will integrate its cross-device messaging platform's alert, notification, routing and wireless instant messaging capabilities with the message storage, access, and delivery abilities of Mirapoint's current solutions.

The partnership enables Mirapoint to significantly extend its messaging products with next-generation services aimed at enterprises and service providers. Integrating MessageMachines with its current messaging solutions allows Mirapoint to offer radically new and compelling applications, such as:

• Wireless instant messaging across different vendors' devices
• New email alerts across all mobile devices
• Notification applications that push information to wireless users
