Mediagate and Mirapoint Partner To Deliver New Unified Communications Solution
Flexible and Modular Mediagate/Mirapoint Solution Enables Internet Gold to Extend New Capabilities To Over 300,000 Subscribers

ORLANDO, Fla. and SUNNYVALE, Calif. – April 9, 2001 - Mediagate, a provider of advanced unified communications, and Mirapoint, a leading provider of Internet messaging infrastructure products, today announced their partnership to offer complete unified communications solutions. Internet Gold, Israel’s leading Internet Service Provider, (NASDAQ:IGLD), is the first customer to deploy a new unified communications solution that combines technology from the two companies. Using the joint solution, Internet Gold is now able to extend new communication capabilities to over 300,000 subscribers for managing all types of messaging media, including email, voice, fax and page messages.

The joint solution, now offered by the two companies through a partner referral program, is based on Mediagate’s iPost® unified communications platform and integrates Mirapoint’s Internet messaging infrastructure products to route, store and provide access to messages. This complete solution enables service providers to “pay as they grow” by allowing them to make incremental investments in hardware and software as their businesses expand.

Both Mediagate’s iPost unified communications solution and Mirapoint’s Internet messaging products are based on Internet standards and are compliant with messaging protocols such as Internet Mail Access Protocol 4 (IMAP4).
