Mirapoint Signs Technica; Announces New Partner Program
Targeting Government Sector

SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 8, 2003 - Mirapoint, a leader in solutions
for message networks, today announced a reseller partnership with
Technica Corporation, a leading technology services and product
solutions provider. Technica will be part of Mirapoint's new Government
Solutions Partner program, which provides marketing and sales support
to assist resellers specifically selling Mirapoint products to federal,
state and local government agencies. Under terms of the partner
agreement, Technica will resell Mirapoint's products, including
the Mirapoint Message Server, Message Director and Directory Server,
to government customers looking to bolster the security and reliability
of their message networks.

as well as address email policy enforcement and business continuity

With the increasing importance of email communications, government
agencies are looking for ways to better secure their mission-critical
message networks. The Mirapoint Message Director provides a powerful
boundary control solution for blocking spam, viruses and hacker
attacks at the network edge. Customers also have the flexibility
to create policies with the Message Director to better manage message
traffic, such as filtering for inappropriate content and preventing
sensitive information leaks. In addition, Mirapoint offers a robust
message store for message archival or disaster recovery. All of
the Mirapoint products can work seamlessly with an existing mail
system, such as Microsoft Exchange.

Mirapoint partner programs including the Total Solutions Partner
program for resellers focused on Mirapoint's comprehensive messaging
solutions, and the Security Solutions Partner program focused on
